Weapons were being imported through drones
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that CIA Tarn Taran had received information. The members of this gang used to import weapons from Pakistan through drones. The team took action under the leadership of DSP Investigation Gurinderpal Singh Nagra. Both the accused were caught from a check post in the area.
The police is now investigating where and to whom these weapons were supplied. During interrogation, there is a possibility of arrest of other accused connected to this network and recovery of weapons.
