Punjab: In Jalandhar, Special Task Force(STF), arrested a smuggler who came to supply Ice (crystal methamphetamine) drug. Near 450 grams of ice has been recovered from him.
Person identified as Sahib Singh from Moga district. STF-AIG Jagjit Singh told to media that as they get informationabout the smuggler, they started tap operation against him. With continuing tracking local police arrested him at Dharmkot Highway.
Under NDPS Act FIR has been registered against him. For more investigation police present him in the court. He only possess 12th marksheet and unemployed.
Due to the greed of earning more, Sahib Singh started smuggling drugs and has been doing the same work for two years.
