Jagraon: In Jagraon, a young man who was living in a live-in relationship after returning from abroad swallowed poison. The young man died during treatment. The deceased youth has been identified as 24-year-old Ketu-Kuljot Singh alias Jashn, resident of Fatehgarh Channa.
As soon as the incident came to light, the father of the deceased lodged a complaint with the police. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case against the accused woman under section 306 at Police Station City Raikot.
According to reports, ASI Gurmeet Singh of Police Station City Raikot said that the victim Major Singh, resident of Fatehgarh Channa, told the police in the complaint lodged that his 24-year-old son Kuljot Singh was trapped in the trap of love by a woman living in the village. Due to which an illicit relationship developed between the two. But later the cunning woman conspired to implicate his son in a rape case and lodged a complaint.
The accused woman in the complaint lodged with the police accused her son of taking her to Rampura Phul city and raping her. But when the police investigated the matter, the complaint of the accused woman turned out to be false. After which his son went to Dubai on 24 March 2024. The victim told that yesterday suddenly he got a call from the accused woman that he should come to Simrat Hospital in Raikot as soon as possible.
When he asked about coming to the hospital, the accused woman disconnected the call. After which he reached Simrat Hospital Raikot along with one of his friends Gurpreet Singh resident Pandori. There his son Jashn was lying unconscious on the bed. Seeing foam coming out of his mouth, he was shocked.
The victim told that when he talked to the doctor of the hospital regarding this, he told that the young man had swallowed some poisonous thing. He was surprised that his son had gone to Dubai. Then when did he come to India and how did he become like this.
During this, he came to know that the accused cunning woman again trapped his son in the trap of her love and assured him that she also does a private job. Both of them will be happy together. Due to which the accused called his son from Dubai to India on 18 May 2024. Then both of them started living together in a rented house. But later the accused woman started harassing his son by fighting with him.
The victim said that he is sure that his son has consumed poison due to being upset with the daily quarrels of the woman. Some time after that, the young man died during the treatment of his son. The police took action in this regard, took the body in possession, got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family. On the basis of the complaint, the police took action against the accused woman under section 306 and registered a case in City Raikot police station.
