Jalandhar: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal, while handing over appointment letters to 69 newly appointed Patwaris said that they should perform their duties with full honesty and hard work.
While giving appointment letters to the newly appointed Patwaris in the district administrative complex here, he said that Patwaris are the foundation of revenue administration of any district. DC Sarangal invited the new Patwaris to serve the people with hard work and dedication.
Congratulating the new Patwaris on receiving the appointment letters, Mr. Sarangal said that these Patwaris have been given appointment letters after completing 15 months of training. He said that with the appointment of these Patwaris, the work of the Revenue Department in the district will be done in a more proper manner, which will directly benefit the people.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the post of Patwari is linked to the lives of common people, hence providing services related to the Revenue Department without any inconvenience to the people should be his priority. On this occasion, District Revenue Officer Arvind Prakash Verma, Sadar Kanungo Ajit Singh and newly appointed Patwari were present.
