Jalandhar: A girl from Jalandhar was raped in a private hotel in Amritsar. The girl was intimidated and threatened to make the video viral. A written complaint has been filed by Shiv Sena leaders and the victim girl in this regard today at the Commissionerate Office.
The victim alleged that the accused, a resident of Ram Nagar, had made relations with her without her consent. The police is now investigating the matter. After investigation, the police will get the girl medically examined and then take further action.
The victim said that she was raped by a person named Puneet Billa along with a female relative. The woman who is accused of getting the rape done was a relative of the victim girl. The woman called the victim’s family and said that she was going to Amritsar with her family. The victim was related to the accused woman, so the family sent the victim to Amritsar with the accused woman.
The accused woman was accompanied by her partner Puneet Billa. But there was no other member of the family. In such a situation, after reaching Amritsar, first of all they bowed their head in Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple). After which the accused woman started saying that she has a headache and they will stay in a hotel here.
A hotel was booked for the three. After which the accused woman went out on the pretext of going to the market. Then the accused Puneet raped the victim. A video of the victim was also made during the rape. When the victim informed the family about the matter after two days, a complaint was lodged with the police.
