Jalandhar: Jalandhar Police has arrested five more henchmen of notorious terrorist Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa, hiding in Canada, along with weapons. DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav has given information by posting a related post on his social media account.

He said that so far, 13 people from this gang have been arrested. The accused is involved in murder, extortion, and many other heinous crimes in many districts. The matter is being investigated by the police. Jalandhar Police has registered a case against them.

Jalandhar Police has been engaged for the last several days to break the network of Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa’s associates. On June 30, the police arrested five members of the gang. At that time, it was learned that the accused were involved in the smuggling of weapons and drugs coming from Pakistan. Many weapons were also recovered from them. After this, many secrets were revealed during the interrogation of the accused.

Now, the police have arrested the said five people. Three pistols and cartridges have been recovered from them. The police are investigating the matter.

The police investigation so far has revealed that Landa is very clever. He connects with the youth through social media while sitting abroad. He targets those youth who need money. Lakhbir Singh Landa’s role has also come to light in the RPG attack on the Punjab Police headquarters. The Punjab Police has declared him a fugitive in this case. Apart from this, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also registered a case against him.
