Jalandhar: In a tragic news, renowned Sufi singer Bunty Qawal’s son died on Thursday during treatment. 15-year-old Ivan, a resident of Basti Pir Dad, met with an accident on Wednesday and a day later he succumbed to injuries.
After the accident, Ivan was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Ivan was going on an Activa, which collided with an e-rickshaw. Due to the accident, he sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment on Thursday.
According to the information, Ivan was a student of 10th standard. On Wednesday, he went to the market at Activa to buy some goods. Suddenly a dog came along the way and in bit to save it, Ivan lost his control over Activa and collided with a passing e-rickshaw.
The accident was reported to the Basti Bawa Khel police station. The police had recorded the statements of the family members. After Ivan’s death on Thursday, his body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The tragic news of the death of a 15-year-old child has left the family devastated.
