Jalandhar: BJP candidate Sheetal Angural has filed his nomination today for the by-election in Jalandhar, Punjab. Before this, Sheetal Angural took out a grand road show from the Basti area. Returning Officer Alka Kalia took the nomination of BJP candidate Sheetal Angural.
During this, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, former Chairman of SC Commission Vijay Sampla, former MP Sushil Kumar Rinku, former MLA KG Bhandari, Manoranjan Kalia and various senior leaders reached the roadshow. Supporters of Sheetal Angural reached the DC office from Basti Danishmand dancing and singing after filing nominations.
Former MLA Sheetal Angural, appealed to the people to vote for BJP. Praising the centre government he said “the future of the West constituency is now in your hands. Which government do you want, the one that has done something for Punjab till date or the one that has made India proud in ten years.”
Anguru further said “AAP has not done anything for the sports market of the West constituency, the people of the market are upset with the government. AAP has done nothing except lying.”
Angural said that on July 10, vote for him and make him win. He added he will convey people’s voice to the government.
Social media influencer Neetu Shatran Wale, who became famous for his comedy, has also filed an independent nomination. Neetu met BJP leaders before filing nomination and took photos with them. Neetu also praised former MLA KD Bhandari.
