Jalandhar West Bypoll: Setback to Congress as former councillor Tarsem Lakhotra, Anmol grover joins AAP

Today, former Congress councilor Tarsem Lakhotra and former councilor's son Anmol Grover joined Aam Aadmi Party along with their colleagues.

Politics has intensified regarding the by-election in Jalandhar, Punjab. Yesterday, Akali Dal candidate Surjit Kaur re-joined SAD again after joining Aam Aadmi Party.

Today, former Congress councilor Tarsem Lakhotra and former councilor’s son Anmol Grover joined Aam Aadmi Party along with their colleagues. Congress and BJP have suffered a major setback due to both of them joining AAP.

Tarsem Lakhotra was with Congress for a long time and had a good hold in his area. In such a situation, his leaving the party has given a big setback to Congress in the West constituency. Similarly, former councilor’s son Anmol Grover was also in Congress earlier.

But when former MP Sushil Kumar Rinku joined BJP, he started supporting BJP. But before the elections, the Grover family changed the party again.

Both Tarsem Lakhotra and Anmol Grover joined AAP in the presence of CM Bhagwant Mann.
