Jathedar Kuldeep Singh’s coronation in Keshgarh Sahib, Nihang jathabandis refuse to accept

After receiving the information of the coronation, Nihang organizations have also started reaching Sri Keshgarh Sahib.

Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj was secretly crowned as the Jathedar of the Sikh Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib at 3 am on Monday amid protests. To suppress the controversy that arose after Giani Raghbir Singh was relieved from the post of Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Giani Sultan Singh from Sri Keshgarh Sahib, the rituals were performed ahead of time under the supervision of five Pyaras.

After receiving the information of the coronation, Nihang organizations have also started reaching Sri Keshgarh Sahib. Apart from 96 crore Sant Baba Balbir Singh, the head of Damdami Taksal, the head of Damdami Taksal Mehta, Nihang organization Baba Bakala Sahib and all others have refused to accept Giani Kuldeep Singh as Jathedar even after this coronation. He said that Hola Mohalla is starting from today. Given this, all Nihang organizations will express their anger and also protest.

At the same time, the newly appointed Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj made it clear that the decisions taken on 2 December 2024 will not be changed. But, the committee formed for recruitment in Akali Dal can be reconsidered.
