Jeweler shot dead during Jago event in Ludhiana

The jeweler, covered in blood, was taken to a private hospital, after which he was also taken to a government hospital where the doctor declared him dead.

A case of firing has come to light during a Jago event late at night in village Malak of Jagraon city of Ludhiana, Punjab. A jeweler who was dancing to the DJ was shot in the chest and waist. The police are yet to find out who fired the shot.

The sound of the DJ also drowned out the sound of the firing. The people dancing came to know about the incident when the jeweler was injured and fell on the ground. The jeweler, covered in blood, was taken to a private hospital, after which he was also taken to a government hospital where the doctor declared him dead.

The jeweler has been identified as Parminder Singh alias Lovely. The police are also questioning the people involved in the Jago event. CCTV cameras installed in the area are also being examined.

According to Dr. Sheetal, one bullet hit Lovely on the left side of her chest and the other in her lower abdomen, due to which she died.

Earlier, people who threatened Lovely had fired bullets at her house in Mullanpur. Mullanpur Dakha police had registered a case in this case and arrested the accused. The attacker was a resident of Moga. The police had provided security to Lovely for a long time, but then her security was withdrawn, after which she started hiring her own personal security personnel.
