Kapurthala: In Kapurthala, the police conducted a search operation in colonies notorious for drug abuse under Eagle-5. During this, the police investigated by barricading at various places. The police arrested 14 accused involved in various cases, while 10 suspects have been rounded up.
DIG Naveen Singla said that 80 per cent of old criminals are involved in crime cases. To catch them, police surveillance will be increased in the districts of Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahr), and Kapurthala under the range.
