Amritsar: Waris Punjab De Chief and Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh announced the formation of a new panthic political party. The party will be formed by his father Bhai Trasem Singh and other colleagues. He said that no political party has been able to resolve the issues of  Punjab. He added that soon he will announce the name of new panthic political party. Amritpal Singh’s parents also made this announcement on reaching the Golden Temple on the previous day.

Amritpal shared this information in a post on X. He said,  “My father Bhai Tarsem Singh ji has announced the formation of a new Panthic political party along with his colleagues. The challenges  Panth-Punjab is facing are becoming more intense instead of getting resolved. Looking back, it is clear that neither the current Panthic nor non-communal political parties have been able to properly resolve any of the issues of Panth. With the support of Guru Maharaj Ji from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, we will soon announce the formation of a new Panthic political party by name.”

Let us tell you that, earlier on the previous day, Amritpal Singh’s father Tarsem Singh had announced after paying obeisance at the Golden Temple that he was going to form a new political party soon.

He had said that no one raises his voice, so he would raise his voice himself. According to Amritpal Singh’s mother, it is important to save the youth of Punjab, which is why his parents want to form a new party.

MP Amritpal Singh was charged with NSA in March 2023 and sent to Dibrugarh jail, after which this year the NSA was extended for one year again. Amritpal Singh is an MP from Khadoor Sahib who won the election by a huge margin as an independent candidate, but despite that the NSA charge was extended on him.
