However, Haryana Police have swiftly denied the claims. A spokesperson from the Haryana Police confirmed that there is no Police post by the name of Jeengarh in the state, and no reports have been received regarding any such grenade attack. Authorities have urged the public to disregard the unverified claims made by the group.

The Babbar Khalsa organization, known for its pro-khalistan activities, has previously made similar statements, but this latest claim is yet to be verified. The monitoring the situation and taking necessary actions to maintain law and order.

The situation remains under investigation, with authorities appealing to citizens to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities.

Who is Happy Pasiyan?

Harpreet Singh, popularly known as ‘Happy Pasiyan’, is a US citizen associated with the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). He is accused of plotting the grenade attack on the house of a retired police officer in Chandigarh in September 2024 along with Pakistan-based terrorist Harvinder Singh Sandhu alias ‘Rinda’.

Happy Pasiyan is a resident of Pasiyan village in Ajnala, Amritsar. After the news of terrorist Arsh Dalla’s arrest in Canada spread, Pasiyan suddenly became active and a series of grenade attacks started in Punjab’s police stations. One after the other, a total of 12 grenade attacks and 1 IED attack attempt have been made in Punjab.
