According to the information, earlier on the night of July 12, the theft had taken place in two shops just 200 meters away from the police station, of which no clue has been found yet.

Shopkeepers demanded action

Dharmpal Sharma said that his acquaintance was going to the gym in the morning, when he saw the shutter broken. He immediately came to the shop and saw that the shutter had been uprooted from one side. A lot of goods were stolen from his medical store. Manpreet Singh said that he has suffered a loss of about 20 thousand rupees. Police should take concrete steps to stop such incidents.

Police engaged in investigation

SHO of City Thana-2 Gurmeet Singh said that a police team has been sent to the spot. The cameras installed nearby are being checked. Efforts are being made to trace the thieves and catch them soon.
