Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pakistani handlers behind attacks in Punjab, attempt to disrupt peace: Mohinder Bhagat

Bhagat made these remarks while visiting the residence of former Minister Manoranjan Kalia

Jalandhar: Punjab Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat launched a scathing attack on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pakistani handlers, accusing them of being behind the recent violent incidents in Punjab. The Minister also criticized the BJP-led Union Government for allegedly providing VIP security to Bishnoi in Sabarmati Jail, Ahmedabad.

Bhagat made these remarks while visiting the residence of former Minister Manoranjan Kalia, where an attack took place last night. The meeting held in a conducive environment, following the Minister informing everyone that Mr. Kalia was safe and that the Punjab Police was investigating the incident thoroughly.

The Minister expressed serious concern over the role of Lawrence Bishnoi, claiming that he has been orchestrating such attacks in Punjab with the help of Pakistani handlers. “It is an open secret that Lawrence Bishnoi has links with Pakistan. The earlier attack on a YouTuber’s house at the behest of Pakistani Don Shahzad Bhatti has already exposed these international connections,” he added.

Mr. Bhagat accused the Union Government of shielding Bishnoi in jail with top-level security, raising questions about the Centre’s intentions. “Providing full security cover to a gangster like Bishnoi in jail raises questions over Union Government intentions,” he said.

Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s resolve, Bhagat said the state police were taking strict measures to prevent such incidents. He made it clear that the Punjab Government would never allow anyone to disrupt the peace and harmony of the state.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Punjab’s Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department Deepak Bali who was accompanying the Cabinet Minister also lambasted gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pak based handlers for such attacks in Punjab. He highlighted nefarious network of Lawrence at the behest of Pakistan who was trying to disrupt the peace of Punjab.
