Chandigarh: The leaves of all police personnel in Punjab have been canceled till January 27. Given Republic Day, the leaves of all the policemen in the state have been canceled till January 27. This order has been issued by Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav. DGP Yadav said that no policeman will be given leave in Punjab till January 27.
Regarding this, IG Headquarters Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill said that these orders have been issued to ensure tight security on the eve of Republic Day on January 26. He said that no policeman in the state will be given leave till January 27. Punjab Police will be on alert 24 hours a day in the entire state for the safety of the people.
According to the information, like every time, this year on Republic Day (January 26), there will be big programs in many districts of Punjab. In which the biggest program will be held in Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala and Bathinda.
Some big leader will reach all the places and hoist the tricolor flag. Its preparations begin several days in advance. This decision has been taken by the police keeping security in mind.
