Ludhiana: 16 days on, no trace of 8-month-old missing girl despite CCTV footage, family seek help

Despite getting CCTV footage, Ludhiana GRP and RPF are proving unsuccessful in finding the missing girl

Ludhiana: 16 days have passed but police is yet not able to find the trace of a 8-month girl who was abducted from the railway station. A video in the same regard is also getting viral. The footage is of the CCTV camera installed nearby in which it can be seen how an 8-month-old girl was abducted from Ludhiana railway station on June 30. In the footage, a woman can be seen carrying the girl on her shoulder and taking her away.

Despite getting CCTV footage, Ludhiana GRP and RPF are proving unsuccessful in finding the missing girl. The system of Railway Police Intelligence and CIA staff is proving to be a failure. The name of the missing girl is Khushi Patel and parents are having a difficult time as their daughter is missing from past 16 days.

The family is a resident of Kaka village. The family is visiting GRP police station every day. It is also alleged by the family that despite having footage, police is not making enough efforts to find a trace of their daughter.

The victim said that he has gone to the police station several times, but no police officer is able to give him correct information about his daughter.

Giving information, the girl’s father Chandan Kumar said that he has three children. The missing girl is the youngest daughter. He had returned to Ludhiana from Vaishno Devi on the night of 29 June. It was 2.10 in the night. To avoid robbery at night, he decided to wait till morning. He added that he and his wife Poonam slept on the platform and when he woke up at 4.40 in the morning, he was stunned as his 7-month-old daughter Khushi was missing.
