Ludhiana: A tragic accident took place near the Haveli located on Ludhiana-Firojpur main road. Here, two close friends died together in a road accident. The deceased have been identified as Husanpreet Kaur (18) daughter of Gurdayal Singh and her friend Manveer Kaur (17) daughter of Harmeet Singh. Both deceased were residents of village of Pamal.
According to the information, both of them were pursuing a BSc computer course at GTB College, Dakha. Yesterday after they left the college, both of them were on Activa and were going back to the village. When they reached near haveli, a Scorpio car coming from other side hit them from behind. The collision with car left both girls seriously injured.
After receiving the information about the accident, the Dakha police reached the accident spot and admitted the injured girls to the DMC hospital in Ludhiana. Both of them were seriously injured and were brought to hospital in critical condition. Later girls succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.
