Ludhiana: Ludhiana district is in first place in availing maximum services through the Punjab Government’s 1076 helpline. Through this helpline, the district administration provides services to people by going door to door.
So far, services through helpline number have been provided to 6775 people in the Ludhiana district. ADC General Major Amit Sareen has appealed to the people of the district to take maximum advantage of this service and get their applications done sitting at home.
ADC said that out of all the applications received in the Ludhiana district, 98 percent of the people have been provided services at their doorstep. He said that citizens will be informed about the necessary documents, fees, and other necessary information to avail the service.
He said that an SMS is sent with the list of necessary documents and the scheduled date and time. After that, an employee come to house and fills out your application and after a few days you will get the document online. This is how people are accessing services at the their home.
