Ludhiana: A case of firing has come to light in Ludhiana. On Wednesday night at 9.17 pm in Mundian 33 Foota Road area, two bullets were fired at the spot out of which one bullet was recovered by the police from the spot by a woman from the area.
The police of Jamalpur police station remained busy till late night in collecting footage from CCTV cameras installed in the area. It has been learned that the youth who came out on bail from the jail has fired the shots.
Dispute between bike and Activa rider
Giving information, Suman, a resident of the area, told the police that after a collision between a bike and an Activa, a dispute broke out between the two drivers.
After this, the youth riding the Activa slapped the bike rider on the road itself. The Activa rider took out a pistol and fired two shots. However, no one was hit by the bullets. A passerby told her that the person who fired the shots has come out on bail from the jail.
Woman named Suman said that she was sitting outside the house at night when this incident happened. The youth riding the Activa fired two shots one after the other. After the firing, both the youths fled from the spot.
After the firing, an atmosphere of panic prevailed in the area. The woman also recovered a live cartridge from the crime scene. Which she later handed over to the police of Jamalpur police station. The police started searching the photos of CCTV cameras around the crime scene.
