Ludhiana CM Bhagwant Mann, AAP Supremo Kejriwal to take out Padyatra to spread awareness on drug abuse

The padyatra will start from Aarti Chowk at 11 am and will go to DIG's residence via Ghumar Mandi.

Today (2nd April) Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and former Delhi CM, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, will take out a padyatra to aware people of drug abuse in Ludhiana. School students and college students will also participate in the padyatra. The padyatra will start from Aarti Chowk at 11 am and will go to DIG’s residence via Ghumar Mandi.

About 1000 police personnel deployed on the padyatra route

The district police administration has made tight security arrangements for this padyatra. More than 1000 police personnel will be deployed on the roads in the city. CM Mann and Kejriwal will also address the people regarding the ongoing campaign against drug abuse.

Preparations are also being made by Aam Aadmi Party workers in the Vidhan Sabha constituency West to welcome the padyatra.

CM Mann and Kejriwal will stay in Ludhiana till around 2 pm. After this they will go back to Chandigarh. Then on April 3, Mann and Kejriwal will visit ITI.
