Ludhiana: Deadly attack on Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar in broad daylight

Ludhiana: In recent news, Punjab Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar alias Gora was attacked by some assailants. The attack on him was carried out by sharp-edged weapons. He was rushed to a civil hospital where doctors referred him to CMC.

On Friday morning, Sandeep Thapar Gora had come with his gunman to attend the death anniversary function of Ravinder Arora, the head of the Sanvedana Trust running in the Civil Hospital.

As soon as he came out after paying obeisance at the function, four Nihangs attacked him with a sword. During this, his gunman stood on the side as a mute spectator and did not make any attempt to save Gora.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena Punjab President Rajeev Tandon said that Gora’s security was cut a few days ago, which is the reason why he was attacked today. He added that Gora’s condition is very critical. The attack took place outside the Civil Hospital.

On the other hand, police forces in large numbers have also been deployed outside the Ludhiana Civil Hospital. Jas Kiranjit Singh Teja said that they have registered the case and those who attacked have been identified. He said that the said accused will be arrested soon.
