Ludhiana: Days after the accident of a school van in Jagraon which claimed the life a student, similar case once again has come to fore exposing the sheer negligence of the school administration. The driver of a private school allegedly in an inebriated state rammed the school bus against a wall. Fortunately, the school students survived this accident and no casualty has been reported. Soon after the accident, people from nearby gathered around the bus and dragged the bus driver and beat him up.
As per the people, the bus driver was under the influence of alcohol and driving the school bus in an inebriated state. People alleged that he drank alcohol in night as well as in morning. At the time of accident, there he reached village Buchkar with 15-16 children from 4 different villages via village Bar-Saal. Due to the influence of alcohol, the driver lost his control over the steering and bus collided directly in the wall of the house.
Hearing the sound of the collision, the villagers came out of their houses. People first took the children out of the bus, then started beating the driver.
After getting information from the villagers, the police reached the spot and caught the drunk bus driver. At present, the police is busy investigating the matter. Let us tell you that a few days ago, a bus driver of a private school in Jagraon had hit the bus into a tree while in an inebriated state. A 7-year-old child died in this accident. Many children were also injured in this accident.
