Female drug smuggler arrested in Ludhiana: 255 grams of heroin recovered

Police have arrested a female drug smuggler in Ludhiana. 255 grams of heroin have been recovered from the woman.

Jaraon, July 4: Police have arrested a female drug smuggler in Ludhiana. 255 grams of heroin have been recovered from the woman. The accused Amandeep Kaur alias Amne is a resident of village Thathi Bhai Samalsar in Moga. She used to supply heroin in many cities including Moga and Ludhiana.

This action has been taken by the police of Thana Sudhar of Jagraon. ASI Manohar Lal of Thana Sudhar was on patrol with the police party. A woman was seen on the drain bridge Budhel Main Road near the toll plaza. As soon as she saw the police vehicle, she threw the envelope in her hand into the bushes. The police caught the woman and recovered the envelope from the bushes. Heroin was found in the envelope.

During interrogation, the woman told that she is married. Her husband is a labourer. She started drug smuggling due to greed for money. She was doing this work for a long time. The police produced the woman in the court and obtained a two-day remand. The police is now trying to find out from where the woman brought such a huge amount of heroin. Along with this, it is also being investigated to whom she had come to give the heroin in the Sudhar area.
