A case of rape of a 15-year-old school student has come to light in Ludhiana, Punjab. The student was going to school on foot at 6.30 am when a person living in her locality made her sit in his Innova car, saying that he will drop her to school.
He made the minor drink a cold drink mixed with some intoxicant in the car, after which the student became unconscious. The miscreant forcefully raped her and fled after throwing her in a street near Mundian Kalan.
The accused made an excuse to drop her to school in the car
Giving information to the police, the student’s mother said that her daughter is 15 years old. Yesterday, when she did not return home, she went out to look for her. She saw that her daughter was lying in the back street of the government school, Mundian Kalan.
In an unconscious state, the student told her mother that she was going to school on foot at 6.30 am when the accused Jatinder Singh, resident of village Mundian Kalan, came in his Innova car. He made an excuse to drop her to school and made her sit in the car. Instead of taking her to school, the accused took her to some other place.
Mixed an intoxicant in a cold drink and made her drink it
There, the miscreant mixed some intoxicant in her cold drink, after which the student became unconscious. The miscreant forcefully abused her sexually and then threw her at the back side of the government school Mundian Kalan and fled while threatening her.
On the statement of the mother, the police of Jamalpur police station has registered a case against the accused Jatinder under 64 BNS, 6 POCSO Act 2012. The accused is still absconding.
