Ludhiana Police in action as assets of 4 smugglers bought with drug money freezed

Ludhiana: As part of the drive against drugs being run by the police in Ludhiana, properties worth crores of rupees of two drug smugglers were sealed. Ludhiana Police also confiscated their luxury cars. On the instructions of Ludhiana CP Kuldeep Singh Chahal, police teams today sealed the houses of two drug smugglers.

DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja of Ludhiana said that the police of Dehlo police station of Ludhiana had registered a case against three drug smugglers identified as Hoshiyar Singh alias Soni resident of Ludhiana, Mukesh Kumar resident of Patiala, and Jammu Singh resident of Ludhiana and recovered a huge amount of drugs from their possession.

DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja said that in the first case, the police sealed three properties worth Rs 5 crore 34 lakh of three drug smugglers, which they had bought by selling drugs. Similarly, in another case, the police confiscated property worth 1 crore 56 lakh 18 thousand and a luxury car worth 7 lakhs from drug smuggler Anil Sabharwal.

DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja said that this campaign of the police will continue and all stringent actions will be taken against the drug smugglers in order to end the drug menace.
