Action On Drug Smuggler: Ludhiana police attached properties of arrested drug smuggler Sukhbir Goldie

Property worth 23 lakh 50 thousand attached, bought house by selling drugs.

Ludhiana: Punjab, Ludhiana Police is in action mode against drug smugglers.  The police have started attaching and freezing the properties of drug smugglers. Today, the district police, under the leadership of ADCP-4, have freez the property worth 23.50 lakh of drug smuggler Sukhbir Singh Goldie of village Jandiali, Police Station Jamalpur. Police officials said that the accused had bought a house by selling drugs.

A case was registered against the accused Goldie on 26 August 2023 under the 21-61-85 NDPS Act. The police recovered 530 grams of heroin, an Innova car number PB-11-BF-4877, and drug money worth Rs 24,700 from Goldie. Apart from the property mentioned by the accused, the police are now preparing to take action against his associates as well.

Police department officials have sent documents to the Competent Authority in Delhi to freeze the properties of Goldie and his associates. After getting approval from there, the properties of many drug smugglers will also be frozen. Currently, Goldie’s 100-square-yard house in the village of Jandiali has been attached. The department is scrutinizing the records of his properties.
