Ludhiana: A case of robbery from fruit vendors at gunpoint has come to light in Ludhiana, Punjab. Two such incidents have come to light in past 4 days. The victims also lodged a complaint in Moti Nagar police station but the police is not listening to them. The accused is still away from the grip of the police.
Giving information, Sher Singh told that he has a fruit cart. He always gets late while returning home at night. He was returning home late at night. When he reached the Fauji Colony area, 4 people came on two bikes and surrounded him. The miscreants pointed a pistol at him, after which they looted money worth 9 thousand rupees from him. The miscreants fled after threatening to kill him.
Similarly, in another case, Ashok Ram said that he was returning home late at night. He was surrounded by 4 miscreants on the way. The robbers tried to strangle him. One robber even took out a pistol. The miscreants looted 10 thousand rupees from him.
He has also complained about this incident to the police but the police is empty handed. The victims have demanded from the Police Commissioner that the robbers should be caught soon so that people can carry on their business without fear.
