Ludhiana: Now another case has come to light from Ludhina’s School of Eminence in which two teachers of the school have been accused of brutally beating the students.
The beating of the students sparked outrage among the angry parents. A crowd of parents gathered outside on Thursday morning. They were demanding justice and investigation into the mistreatment of their children. The parents allege that two teachers beat up the students badly on Wednesday.
Brutality on children: Teacher beats student without reason
Harpreet Kaur, mother of Arun, said that her son Arun is a student of class 10. The son was attending the school prayer meeting when the physical education (PT) teacher beat him without any reason. When the student asked the teacher the reason for this, he was beaten again. The teacher forced him to apologize to the teacher.
Ranjit Kaur, mother of another student, said that her son Rohan also studies in class 10. The teacher slapped him so hard on his face that finger marks were visible on her son’s face.
Rohan told them that he was taking his friend Arun inside the class, who was beaten by the teacher in the prayer meeting. The class teacher told his son to go to the class and let him be. But Rohan did not let go of his hand, due to which the lady teacher got angry and slapped Rohan 30 to 40 times.
Complaint lodged with police, medical report also done
Parents say that they got their children medically examined at Civil Hospital and lodged a complaint at Kochar Nagar police station.
The student had uttered abusive words during the prayer meeting: Deputy Principal
On this matter, the school’s vice principal Vishwakirat said that he has investigated the entire incident. It has been found that the student had uttered abusive words in the prayer meeting due to which the teacher slapped him. The matter has been resolved after meeting the family. Such incidents will be avoided in the future.
