Ludhiana West Bypoll: Administration suspends 6 teachers for not attending election duty, see list

These orders have been issued by the Election Registration Officer and Assistant Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Ludhiana.

Ludhiana administration has taken strict action against 6 teachers who were absent for the by-election of the West Vidhan Sabha constituency. The Additional Deputy Commissioner has suspended these 6 teachers with immediate effect.

According to the information, all these teachers belong to Government Primary School, Sunat. These orders have been issued by the Election Registration Officer and Assistant Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Ludhiana.

Under the upcoming Electoral Roll Special Summary Amendment 2025, 6 women teachers were deployed on duty for election-related work in Ludhiana (West) constituency. As per the duty order, all these employees were to participate in the election work from 12th April 2025 to 15th April 2025.

The teachers who have been suspended include Uma Sharma – Primary Cadre, Gurvinder Kaur – Associate Pre-Primary Teacher, Jaspreet – Associate Pre-Primary Teacher, Sarabjit Kaur – Associate Pre-Primary Teacher, Hardeep Kaur – Assistant Teacher and Manminder Kaur – Assistant Teacher.
