The ongoing farmers’ agitation 2.0 on the Shambhu and Khanauri border of Punjab-Haryana over 13 demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price for crops, is about to complete one year.
On this occasion, a farmers’ Mahapanchayat is going to be held on the Khanauri border today (February 12). In this, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a fast to death for 78 days, will give a message to the public.
On the other hand, a meeting has been organized by the United Kisan Morcha in Chandigarh today on the unity proposal of Shambhu and Khanauri Morcha. The effort behind this is to bring all the farmers on one platform before the meeting with the central government on February 14.
However the farmer leaders of Khanauri Morcha have refused to attend this meeting. They have referred to the farmers’ Mahapanchayat. However, the leaders of Shambhu Morcha will attend the meeting.
