Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police in a joint operation with the central agency has arrested the main perpetrator of the Chandigarh Grenade blast case. The information about the arrest has been shared by DGP Gaurav Yadav on his X handle.

Punjab Police has arrested the main perpetrator of the Chandigarh Grenade Blast case, in a joint operation with Central Agency. The Punjab Police solved the case with the nabbing of main culprit who admitted his role in the preliminary disclosure made by him.
The arrested accused has been identified as Rohan Masih, who is resident of the village Passia. The police has also made identification of the other accused as well and his arrest will be made soon.
Along with the arrest, One 9MM Glock pistol along with ammunition was recovered from his possession. Further investigation to unravel the entire conspiracy is being done jointly in coordination with the Chandigarh Police.
The accused is in the custody of State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar. In the preliminary disclosure, Rohan admitted his role in the grenade blast which occurred in Chandigarh on 11.09.2024.
