Chandigarh: Manish Tiwari has won from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat. Manish Tiwari of Congress has secured 216657 votes. Along with this, Sanjay Tandon has been defeated by 2504 votes. Manish Tiwari has thanked the people of Chandigarh after his great victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
He reacted after the great victory and said that the people of Chandigarh have reposed unwavering trust in the Congress party. He assured that the Congress party would accept this support with service and goodwill. Manish Tiwari has tweeted about this today.
Manish Tiwari tweeted that I thank the people of Chandigarh for reposing their trust in me. I will try to live up to your expectations. I thank all the workers and leaders of Bharat Gathjod for their continuous efforts which made this victory possible. We fought a tough election for my worthy opponent Sanjay Tandon BJP but I have no bitterness in my heart. Let’s make a fresh start and work together for the prosperity of Chandigarh.
Manish Tiwari of Congress has secured 216657 votes. Along with this, Sanjay Tandon has got 214153 votes. A total of 19 candidates were in the fray for this seat.
