As per the circular by Punjab Government, the officers of the Deputy Director cadre found eligible are promoted as Joint Director. As per it, they are promoted in the pay scale of Level-21 (67400-201200) of the Schedule as specified in The Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2021 as per the following.
As per the order, Ishwinder Singh Grewal has been appointed as Joint Director to main office while Manvinder Singh has been appointed as Joint Director to (Press)/Chief Minister, Punjab and Additional Duty District Office Amritsar.
As per the order, the officers will be eligible to get the benefit of this promotion from the date of reporting for duty and the officer will submit his attendance report to the Administrative Department. The probation period of the said officers on this promotion will be of one year.
If the work and conduct of the said officer is not found satisfactory during the probation period, then this probation period can also be extended.
