Amritsar, May 3: A huge fire broke out in a house late at night in lane number one of Jagdambay Colony on Majitha Road in Amritsar, Punjab. The fire was so terrible that the entire house was reduced to ashes. At the time of the incident, the elderly were alone in the house and were sleeping. Due to which they have been badly burned and their condition remains critical.
According to locals, a massive explosion occurred soon after the fire broke out. They said that the explosion could have been caused by the AC compressor bursting or the cylinder exploding. However, the exact cause of the fire is not yet known. After three to four hours, the fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control.
The family went out for a walk
It is being said that at the time of the accident, the head of the house was sleeping inside, while other family members had gone out for a walk after having dinner. Due to this, he got caught in the fire and was severely burned.
As soon as the information about the fire was received, the fire department team reached the spot and started trying to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known
Eyewitnesses told the police that first there was a loud explosion, and then the fire broke out. They say that the house has been completely burnt to ashes, and the fire had taken a terrible form.
