Chandigarh: Mega PTM will be held in government schools of Punjab today on Tuesday. PTM which is Parents Teacher meeting is being organized across all govt schools in the state. This was announced by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains yesterday. Mega Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) will be held today (Tuesday) in 20 thousand government schools of Punjab. Apart from the parents of the students, all ministers and MLAs including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also join PTM.
Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that on Tuesday morning from 9 am to 2.30 pm Mega P. T. M (Parent-Teacher Meeting) will be conducted. He said that last time, about 19 lakh parents participated in it and Meanwhile, various suggestions were given by the parents of the children regarding the education policy.
Bains said, “We are trying to make all data public. He said that this time the education budget has also got extra and no development work has stopped in the schools of Punjab. He requested that parents of children studying in government schools to attend the meeting today.”
As per information Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself will reach a school in Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency and talk to the teachers of the schools along with the children and their parents.
