Missile debris found in Bhogpur’s field, officials from Adampur Airbase took it in possession

A team reached the farmer's field for investigation.

A part of a missile was recovered from a farmer’s maize field near Bhogpur in Jalandhar, Punjab. According to the information received, this piece has been recovered near Jamalpur village of Bhogpur. As soon as the piece of missile was found, farmer Reru (Jalandhar) Amarjit Singh immediately informed the officials of Police Station Bhogpur about the matter. A team reached the farmer’s field for investigation.

SHO Ravinder Pal Singh of Police Station Bhogpur, who reached the crime scene for investigation, immediately shared the information of the case with the army. After which a contingent of Indian Army reached Jamalpur village of Bhogpur from Adampur Airbase for investigation.

Army officials took possession of the piece of missile

When the army officials reached the spot and examined the piece of the missile, no flammable and explosive object was recovered from it. After which the Indian Army officials took possession of the piece of the said missile and left from there.

SHO Ravinderpal Singh said that the Indian army had destroyed the missiles fired by Pakistan in May in the air and hence, this part of a missile could be the part of the missile destroyed at that time, which has fallen in the maize field here.
