Mohali: Mohali DC Ashika Jain has declared Chandigarh Airport and the area up to 5 km as a no-flying zone on May 4 and May 8. This step has been taken in view of the arrival and departure program of President Draupadi Murmu.

During this period, the use of any kind of drones or other flying objects will be strictly prohibited (Mohali No Flying Area). On May 4, the President will reach Mohali and from there leave for Himachal Pradesh. On May 8, she will fly back to Delhi from Himachal Pradesh.

This decision has been taken due to the schedule of arrival and departure of President Draupadi Murmu. During this time, there will be a ban on flying any kind of drone or anything else (Mohali Airport No Flying Area). The President will land at Chandigarh Airport on May 4, after which he will visit Himachal Pradesh. On May 8, she will return from Himachal and fly to Delhi from Chandigarh Airport.

She will stay on a four-day summer vacation at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Mashobra, about 13 km from Shimla. Every year the President of the country visits here with family in summer.
