MP Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal bows down at Golden Temple on ‘World Earth Day’

Rajya Sabha MP and environmental activist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal on Monday prayed for the welfare of all by bowing down at the Golden Temple.

Amritsar, April 22: Rajya Sabha MP and environmental activist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal on Monday prayed for the welfare of all by bowing down at the Golden Temple. During this, he greeted people all over the world on the occasion of World Earth Day and gave a message of environmental protection.

Seechewal said that protecting Mother Earth is the responsibility of every human being and the time has come for all of us to take concrete steps to save it. He said that he has come here to meet the officials on the serious pollution issue of Tung Dhab drain in Amritsar, so that necessary action can be taken towards its solution.

Seechewal in support of Jathedar Gargaj

Sant Seechewal appreciated the wave of religious propagation being carried out by Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and said that “This is a very laudable initiative and we are always with Jathedar Sahib. Propagation of correct teachings of religion is the need of the hour.”

Appeal to save the environment

Sant Seechewal said- I have come to Darbar Sahib today to pay my obeisance. I wish everyone on World Earth Day and appeal that we all should come together to save our environment. The religious campaign being run by Jathedar Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib is very good, and we are always with him.
