Goraya: Today, a team of Mumbai Police raided Goraya town of Jalandhar and arrested a young man and took him to Mumbai. This raid was conducted in Atta village of Goraya. A police party of Jalandhar Rural Police was also accompanying the Mumbai Police. The police has arrested the accused in connection with the theft of jewelry worth about 15 lakh rupees from a person’s house in Mumbai.
When the theft was discovered, a complaint was lodged with the police in Mumbai
Victim Yuvraj Singh Toor said- Recently his wife was very ill, due to which she was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai. Where Satinder Singh alias Satti of Atta village came to meet him. Satti was his old acquaintance.
After which they came home, where Satinder Singh also came home with them. Satti took the opportunity and stole the diamond ring kept in the purse after dinner. They came to know about this after watching CCTV, after which they lodged a complaint in Mumbai Police Station. Where the police have registered a case against Satinder.
Several FIRs are registered against the accused in various police stations of Punjab
After arresting the accused Satti, who hails from Atta village in Goraya, the Mumbai police took him with them. Cases are already registered against Satti in various police stations in Punjab. Many people have also come to Goraya police station with their complaints that Satinder has cheated many people. According to the victim, the diamond ring was worth Rs 15 lakhs. Which was stolen by the accused.
