Ludhiana: A student who went to study in Canada from the city of Ludhiana in Punjab has been shot dead. The reason why the youth was shot is yet to be known. The deceased was a resident of Rishi Nagar of Ludhiana city.
The deceased youth’s name was Yuvraj Goyal. Whose age was 28 years. Shots fired at 8.45 am on Friday morning. Yuvraj Goyal has no previous case registered against him nor does he have any criminal record.
He lived in Surrey, Canada. He was the only son in his family. Yuvraj was still unmarried. Yesterday evening only, his family got information that Yuvraj was living in a rented house.
There he was shot dead by some armed youths. It has been learned that Canadian police have arrested 4 people in this case. The arrested accused have been identified as Manveer Basra, Basra Sahab, Harkirat, Keilon Francois.
A case of target killing
According to media reports, Yuvraj used to work in a private job in Canada. He was confirmed (PR) in Canada not long ago. At present Yuvraj’s family is in dire straits. Yuvraj’s body will be brought to India or his parents will go to Canada. There is no information about this yet.
