Nabha: The police across the state are seen to be active regarding ‘Chinese String’ because every day some person is falling victim to it, and also animals are falling prey to it. Nabha police are continuously raiding shops against Chinese String. Under which Nabha police have recovered 42 bundles of Chinese String from a person. The accused has been identified as Umesh Kumar, resident of Jaspal Colony, Nabha. Although the police have also registered a case against the accused, somehow he got bail.
Whoever fell victim to Chinese String had to lose his life to escape. Even though Chinese string is completely banned in Punjab. But despite this, Chinese String smugglers are smuggling by selling this at high prices through thieves’ holes. But due to the lack of strict laws, smugglers are escaping from the clutches of the police and selling it again.
Nabha Police has continuously launched a big campaign against Chinese String. Nabha DSP, SHU and others are raiding the shops themselves. The police are arresting Chinese String smugglers one after the other, and so far Nabha Police has recovered more than 100 bundles of Chinese String.
On this, SHO Jaswinder Singh Khokhar of Nabha Kotwali said that Chinese String has been completely banned and cases have also been registered against smugglers by the police and so far we have recovered more than 100 bundles of it. We have arrested Umesh Kumar, a resident of Jaspal Colony, along with 42 bundles of Chinese String.
But due to the lack of strict laws, he has also taken bail. The SHO warned the children and their parents that if their child is caught flying a kite with Chinese String, then action will be taken against the parents as well.
