Chandigarh : Former president of Punjab Congress and famous cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu with his wife Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s has reached Rajindra Hospital for his wife’s treatment.
In this regard, Sidhu, while sharing information on the internet media, said that on Thursday, he visited the government Rajindra Hospital for his wife’s radiation therapy and consulted with expert doctors. He said that radiation therapy will start after a week.
He wrote that It was heartening to see that this state-of-the art machine has become available free of cost to the general public in Rajindra Hospital and Amritsar as well.
He further wrote that doctors said that the half inch deep wound will heal in a week and after that the radiation will start at Patiala itself.
It may be mentioned that Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been suffering from cancer from a long time and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kurukshetra, Haryana, where she underwent an operation on April 5.
