Bathinda: NIA has raided the house of a women farmer leader in Rampura Phool of Bathinda. It should be noted that the house of the female farmer leader is in Sarabha Nagar of Rampura Phool. Angry fellow farmers have staged a dharna near the house of the female leader following the raid of the NIA.
Meanwhile, the farmers are being stopped by the police. The NIA raid is going on at the house of the female leader. The woman’s name is Sukhwinder Kaur Khandi.
Large number of police personnel were also deployed following the protest of farmers . However, the reason for the raid is yet to be known. Along with this, Rampura Phool Kisan Union Krantikari has staged dharna there. The union has announced that no one will be allowed to walk out until the reason for the raid is known.
Who is Sukhwinder Kaur?
Sukhwinder Kaur is the state general secretary of the union. NIA teams reached her house late at night and early in the morning. No one was allowed to leave the house. Neither was anyone being allowed to make phone calls etc.
