Bathinda, July 4: A Nihang attacked a computer operator with a sword inside a hospital in Bathinda today. Computer operator Gursevak Singh suffered an injury in his hand in the incident. The incident took place at the Civil Hospital in Talwandi Sabo. The incident took place when a Nihang came to the hospital to get medicine.
He first took medicine from a doctor. Then he went to get a new prescription from another doctor. When the computer operator asked him for the prescription money of Rs. 10, he got angry. He abused and attacked with a sword. After the attack, the accused fled from the spot.
In protest against this incident, the doctors of the hospital closed OPD services. Dr. Jagroop Singh and Dr. Ravikant, Senior Medical Officer, have demanded security. They say that there is no security arrangement in the hospital. Talwandi Sabo DSP Rajesh Snehi said that the police have identified the accused. His search is on. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused.
