NRI Milni: Govt to Organise first Milni at Chamrour today

In this meeting, NRI’s from Pathankot, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, & Hoshiarpur can take part.

Chandigarh: In an initiative to redress issues of NRIs, Punjab government has started a program named ‘NRI Milni’. NRI Milni is a kind of meeting programmes held to redress the issues such as land dispute, family/marriage related and other different types of disputes.

Under the Chairmanship of Minister of NRI Affairs Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal  these meetings are organized. Today the first meeting of this year will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann here at Chamrour.

In a post on X, CM Mann shared, “From today we are going to start ‘NRIs meeting’ for the migrant Punjabis in Punjab…in which the issues and complaints of NRIs will be settled…the first ‘NRI meeting’ will be held in village Chamrour of Pathankot (mini Goa). It has been held here so that Punjabis living outside can be shown some different colors of colorful Punjab”.
