In joint operation Punjab Police and BSF recovers Pakistani drone from Tarn Tarn area

The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic.

Amritsar: On 30th June 2024, based on information by BSF intelligence wing regarding presence of a Pakistani drone ahead of border security fence in district Amritsar.

Based on information provided by BSF intelligence wing regarding the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation by BSF Punjab in collaboration with Punjab police was successfully conducted in the suspected area.

During the search at about 08:45 am, the troops recovered one drone from a farming field adjacent to village Kalsh Havelian in Tarn Taran District.

The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic. This operation highlights the prompt sharing of information and coordinated efforts of BSF troops and Punjab Police, emphasizing their commitment to eliminating the menace of illicit drones sent from across the border.
