Patiala: On Tuesday afternoon, on Sirhind Road in Patiala, a woman with driving Activa collided with a trolley after colliding with a car. She died on the spot in this accident. 32-year-old Reena Devi, who lost her life in the accident, lived in Majri Akaliyan village, Baran area.
Her son had reached home from school and was sitting outside in the sun as the school was locked. Knowing this, Reena Devi started driving the Activa at high speed, and while trying to overtake, she collided with the trolley after hitting the back of the car. After colliding with the trolley, Reena Devi fell, suffered a severe head injury, and died on the spot.
Investigation officer Randhir Singh, who reached the spot, said that the dead body had been taken into custody and kept in the mortuary of Rajindra Hospital. This accident happened on Tuesday afternoon, after which the family was informed and called.
Reena Devi used to go to teach tuition, but she was late while returning.
Her child had returned home after school and was sitting outside because the school was locked. Knowing this, Reena Devi drove the Activa at high speed and, in the process, became a victim of the accident.
