Punjab: On December 4, 2024, the Border Security Force (BSF), in collaboration with the Punjab Police, successfully intercepted three smuggling attempts at four locations along the Punjab-Pakistan border. The operation resulted in the arrest of three Indian smugglers and the recovery of over five kilograms of heroin, highlighting the ongoing challenges posed by drug trafficking.
